Therapeutic Powers of Play delves into the mechanisms that make play an essential medium for therapeutic change. Learners will examine the four therapeutic powers of play the 20 core agents of change, and how they support emotional expression, regulation, and resilience. Grounded in key play therapy theories, with a focus on the work of Rogers and Axline, this course connects theory to practice in meaningful ways. By the end, learners will have a deeper understanding of how and why play therapy works, strengthening their ability to apply these concepts effectively.
This is a fully online, asynchronous course. Learner can start at any time and complete the work at their pace. The course has about 2 hours of work. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of the course.
